Near Energy for hotels, resorts etc.

The basic processes of this system consist of a combination of anaerobic digestion (biogas) and pyrolysis/gasification producing gas, heat and power, supplemented by solar energy installations (power and/or water heaters). The system is a modular system with containers, for easy transportion, installation and expansion.

The Near Energy system is suitable for hotels, resorts and housing compounds for replacing diesel generators, gas and charcoal, while getting rid of wastes from e.g. toilets, kitchen and garden.

The anaerobic digestion system is used to process wet biomass. It can be scaled up or down as the need arises. The output will be gas that can be fed to a Combined Heat and Power (CHP) unit for the production of heat and electricity, or used as cooking gas on the premises. In addition the residual material or digestate is suitable as liquid fertiliser or can be processed further to produce solid fertiliser (pellets) and recyclable water. The pellets can be used locally or sold.

From the dry biomass the gasification technique produces syngas and biochar. The syngas can be fed directly to a Combined Heat and Power (CHP) unit for the production of heat and electricity, or the gas can be processed to liquid fuels (synthetic fuel).

Technical specifications

The energy to be produces nearest to energy source possible

The system is easy to transport, install and expand/reduce

It is flexible and can easily be adapted to local conditions and local demands. That means the users can make choices between energy output -  as gas, hot water or electricity
